Key duties include staff supervision, marketing, inventory control, financial management, maintaining health/safety, and resolving customer issues, requiring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff & Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and mentor nail technicians; foster a positive, productive team culture.
* Operations: Manage daily salon flow, ensure cleanliness, optimize appointment scheduling, and maintain facility standards.
* Customer Service: Address client inquiries, resolve complaints, build client relationships, and drive satisfaction.
* Inventory & Supplies: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, manage product mix, and control costs.
* Marketing & Sales: Develop and implement promotions, manage advertising, and promote services.
* Financial Management: Handle budgets, process payments, track financial records, and aim for profitability.
* Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations (OSHA, etc.).
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a nail technician and manager.
* Valid cosmetology/nail technician license.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of salon software and business operations.
