Senior Gastroenterology Training Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional in advanced gastroenterology training to join our team for a 12-month fellowship.
The successful candidate will gain expertise in the assessment, clinical management and procedural skills required to perform interventional or therapeutic endoscopy.
* Participate in a roster system for general gastroenterology and GI bleeding oncalls
* Contribute to acute GI bleeding endoscopies and other inpatient endoscopies
* Engage in weekly X-ray/pathology sessions and unit meetings with case presentations
* Attend a weekly interventional endoscopy clinic
* Support student and resident teaching, and assist junior gastroenterology trainees
* Participate in weekend ward rounds at local hospitals on a roster basis
To be successful in this role, you must hold a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent), have current registration with AHPRA as a medical practitioner, and be in your final year of advanced training in gastroenterology or already possess FRACP qualifications.
