Account Manager Role
This role reports to the Sales Manager and will be based in Fyshwick, ACT.
The Account Manager will focus on customer management within the Residential Housing Segment across the Melbourne Metropolitan Region. This includes both Residential Housing Builders and Key Residential Housing Contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure business transactions are conducted with strong ethical, safety, and compliance standards.
* Undertake sales activities to achieve and exceed budgeted targets and take corrective action as required.
* Contribute to the development of the segment and customer strategy and plans.
* Develop strong multilevel relationships with targeted customers and segment decision makers.
* Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
* Maintain and report knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and competitor product development.
Candidate Requirements:
* Superior written and verbal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Ability to speak, present, and lead discussions with customers.
* Self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic, and resilient with the ability to operate autonomously.
* Basic competency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* SAP and CRM Salesforce experience and knowledge preferred.
* A current Victorian Driver's License is required.
* A minimum of 3 years external sales experience is necessary.
* Building industry knowledge and experience are preferred but not essential.
