As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting consultations with patients to assess their medical conditions and provide appropriate treatment
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as needed
- Providing preventative care and health education to patients
- Managing chronic conditions and coordinating care with specialists as required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participating in clinical meetings and professional development activities
- Adhering to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain this
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Practitioner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Availability to work full-time, including some evenings and weekends
