Job Description
We are looking for our next breakfast superstar to join the kitchen team in our rooftop restaurant and bar, Cleo.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes to Cleo's standards
* Supporting senior chefs with breakfast prep, mise en place, and smooth service execution
* Assisting in the development and refinement of breakfast and brunch menu items
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment during early and peak breakfast service
* Ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail across all breakfast and brunch plates
* Bringing creativity and initiative while staying aligned with Cleo's style and standards
* Supporting junior kitchen staff and contributing to a positive, efficient team culture
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef in a hotel or high-volume breakfast/brunch restaurant
* Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to high culinary standards
* Ability to work efficiently in early shifts and high-pressure breakfast service periods
* Strong teamwork skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
