About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team in Emerald, Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out service and maintenance work on a range of Kenworth and DAF trucks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Diagnose and repair faults
* Carry out service and maintenance work
* Train apprentices and assist workshop personnel
* Complete job cards accurately
* Participate in the on-call roster and attend off-site breakdowns

Requirements:
* A heavy vehicle mechanic qualification or any other equivalent mechanical qualification
* Strong safety awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve effectively
* An HR and forklift licence are highly desirable
* Previous experience working with Kenworth or DAF vehicles would be beneficial
