We're looking for an experienced Draftsperson to join our team in Wagga Wagga. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your CAD skills in a hands-on, practical environment while contributing to the ongoing development of industry-leading designs.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Draftsman, you'll be responsible for 2D and 3D CAD design, workshop documentation and continuous improvement of ProWay's extensive product range. You'll work closely with designers, engineers and workshop teams to deliver high-quality drawings and support efficient manufacturing.
In this role, you will:
* Produce and update detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor
* Work collaboratively with the design and workshop teams to support production
* Assist in developing new products and refining existing designs
* Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to technical challenges
* Participate in quality assurance and process improvement activities
* Contribute to stock take, training and occasional site visits as required
* Complete timesheets and other administrative duties as needed
About You
You're a detail-oriented and practical thinker who enjoys turning ideas into reality, bringing a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset.
You'll have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience using Autodesk Inventor (or similar CAD software)
* A background or understanding of fabrication or manufacturing environments
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
