Director of Sales and Business Development
We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to spearhead our sales organization across the Southeastern markets. This is a high-profile role that demands strategic vision, leadership acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams, developing and executing regional sales strategies, and driving top-line growth and market share expansion.
This is a hands-on leadership position that requires talent development, performance management, and partnership with executive leadership to meet ambitious growth targets.
* Lead and manage a team of sales managers and representatives across multiple markets.
* Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
* Maintain performance metrics and use data to guide team focus, decision-making, and accountability.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
* Oversight of onboarding, training, and continued development of the sales team to ensure peak performance.
* Collaboration with operations, marketing, and executive leadership to align goals and deliver results.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role (Director, Regional Manager, or equivalent).
* A proven history of constructing and leading successful sales teams.
* A solid understanding of sales strategy, forecasting, and scaling teams.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
* A willingness to travel regularly across the Southeast U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Industry experience in commercial landscaping is highly preferred.
* Experience in field service or route-based sales.
* Demonstrated success in crafting and implementing sales training programs.
