We're a busy and friendly print production facility looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder to join our team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be involved in everything from preparing artwork and running print jobs, through to helping customers and finishing printed products.
What the role looks like
Depending on the day, you may be:
* Setting up files for print and handling basic pre-press tasks
* Designing and laying out print artwork such as business cards, flyers, posters and signage
* Operating digital printing equipment
* Finishing jobs using equipment like guillotines, booklet makers, binding and folding machines
* Assisting customers in person, by phone or email, and helping turn their ideas into print
What we're really looking for
More than ticking every box, we're looking for someone with the right mindset.
You might already have experience in one or more of the following:
* Digital & Wide Format Print Production
* Graphic design and layout (Illustrator, inDesign & Photoshop)
* Customer Service
* Print Finishing
If you don't have experience in everything, that's absolutely fine - however we will prioritise applicants that have experience with Illustrator, inDesign & Photoshop. Besides that, what matters most is that you:
* Are computer savvy and comfortable learning new systems and software
* Enjoy learning new skills and take pride in improving your knowledge
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and teammates
* Pay attention to detail and manage your time well
* Can work independently, but also enjoy being part of a team
