We are now seeking a Chef |Cook to join our great little kitchen. This is a great opportunity to for someone to work up to 20 hours a week. This would suit a cook or chef looking at a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a great team.
The responsibilities of the role include:
* Ensuring the highest standards of food service, quality and presentation, are met at all times
* Maintaining open communication with the front and back of house
* Responsibility for ensuring the cleanliness and order of the kitchen
* Ensuring food standards are adhered to, to guarantee the safety of all our patrons
To be the successful in the role you will have:
* A passion for food and commitment to learn and progress
* Some experience working in a commercial kitchen
* An ability to be organized and work well under pressure
* Motivation and be hard working
* A positive and professional attitude
* Excellent communication skills and be a team player
* Sound familiarization with Food Safety, WHS legislation, sustainability practices and kitchen procedures
