Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity based in Sydney.
The role involves supporting the Accounts Payable team with day-to-day employee expense management, processing and reconciliation of transactions, and providing excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders.
* Process American Express and employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with firm policy.
* Review and verify expense claims for accuracy and completeness.
* Respond to employee queries regarding coding, policies, and requests.
* Escalate non-compliance issues to the Accounts Payable Team Leader.
* Support annual audit requests and provide accurate financial information.
* Analyse and ensure all expense claims are submitted by due date.
* Reconcile and process office bank account transactions daily.
* Process treasury, payroll, and partner draw payments daily.
* Oversee the printing and saving of EFT remittance statements.
* Provide support to the Accounts Payable Team Leader with ad-hoc tasks as required.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in accounts payable and administration, working closely with our finance team to deliver efficient and accurate financial services.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts payable or associated accounts administration role.
* Experience in a professional services environment is desirable but not essential.
* Chrome River or Expense Management System experience is required.
* Experience in reconciling and processing bank account transactions.
* Intermediate use of Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Intermediate use of a Client Management System (CMS) or practice management system.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
