**The Role**
Phillip Riley has partnered exclusively with a large utilities business in Melbourne who are actively seeking to hire a Product Manager. The business is forward thinking in their approach and have added multiple product managers to their asset management division to continue to deliver the best solutions for their asset owners.
This is a career defining role for a product manager to specifically target asset performance, liaise with a number of key stakeholders and be a huge contributor to the success of the division. You will play a crucial part in shaping the product roadmap, refining the backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of product features that align with business objectives.
**Role**: Product Manager
**Salary**: $200,000 inclusive of super + 15% short term incentive (salary negotiable)

**Key responsibilities**:
- Leading the development of the product vision and aligning it with the Asset Management Framework.
- Collaborating with senior management, Product Owners, and key stakeholders to incorporate feedback and maintain the integrity of the product vision and goal.
- Making crucial product decisions, including feature releases and timing, to maximize value.
- Developing the capability of the team to ensure successful product delivery, working closely with the Chapter Leads.
- Creating a high-performance, high-trust environment that empowers self-managing squads.
- Fostering a positive work environment by focusing on the growth of individuals and the value of outcomes.
**Key skills**:
- Extensive leadership experience with a proven ability to align with business outcomes and facilitate autonomous delivery.
- Strategic thinking skills, capable of connecting organisational strategy with tactical actions to achieve results.
- Excellent "systems thinker", with evidence of tangible product delivery in a leadership role.
- Previous experience in managing product performance, including monitoring different KPI's and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills, adept at representing the product vision to the entire organization.
- Collaborative leadership style, actively seeking input and buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- Emotional intelligence, with a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and a strong focus on delivering exceptional user experiences to maximize product value.
