Boggabri Coal Mine (BCO) is an open‐cut coal operation, producing in excess of 7 million tonnes per annum with a mine life extending through until 2036. BCO is located approximately 57 km from Narrabri, just 60 km from Gunnedah and 23 km from Boggabri NSW. These historic small country towns offer community spirit and a unique, diverse country lifestyle.
How you will contribute
Carry out general electrical work and tasks in the CHPP, mine infrastructure or mining areas across site, including installation, removing, adding, testing, replacing, repairing, altering, maintaining and commissioning electrical equipment or electrical installations.
Maintain and support the site Operational Technology systems including: site 2‐way, WIFI and general networking systems, CCTV, fleet management systems, fatigue management systems, proximity detection systems, asset health systems.
Specific maintenance and fault‐finding activities within the CHPP (VVVF drives, process control valves and instrumentation, PLC systems) and across the site infrastructure systems (low and high voltage networks and switchgear, pumping systems, solar farm and a new BESS in construction for 2026).

* Current NSW Supervisors or Contractors Licence
* Proficiency certificate issued by NSW training services
* Highly regarded qualifications:
o Forklift and EWP HRWL licence
o Work at heights
o Confined space
o EEHA
o High voltage training
* Ability to analyse technical data, interpret electrical schematics to assist with fault‐finding activities
* Experience with CHPP, infrastructure maintenance and operational technology systems are desirable but not essential, training will be provided for the right candidate who is motivated and willing to learn.
* Individuals who are driven, solutions‐oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision, while embracing teamwork and shared success

* Total Salary: $205,455 per year
* Potential $5k Annual Attendance Bonus
