We're looking for a driven and capable Mine Site Cleaning Project Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of one of our remote contracts.
As a Mine Site Cleaning Project Supervisor, you'll work closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless service delivery, strong client relationships, and a high-performing team. You will be a champion of safety, team development, and operational excellence.
This a 7 day on, 7 day off role, working 11 hour shifts and is fully relieved. The candidate will reside locally or be prepared to drive-in, drive-out. Accommodation and meals are all supplied.
The Position
* Assist with the management of daily operations
* Build strong client relationships and respond to requests for additional services
* Support, develop, and train team members, fostering a positive and respectful work culture
* Approve timesheets, manage leave, and ensure accurate payroll inputs
* Ensure full compliance with site readiness requirements including inductions, WAFs, and SOPs
* Maintain system access and Learning Management System compliance
* Promote and uphold Compass Group's strong safety culture
* Proactively manage employee absences, performance, and grievances
The Person
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a remote, hospitality, facilities, or similar operational environment
* Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
* A passion for safety, training, and operational excellence
* Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments
* Confidence using workforce systems and managing compliance
