We are seeking a Chef Supervisor to lead our catering team at Respect's Hervey Bay facility, ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals prepared with care and attention.

In this role, you will:
* Lead and manage catering operations across the facility
* Plan nutritious, culturally considerate menus in consultation with residents, dietitians, and nursing staff
* Mentor and support catering staff, building a positive and high-performing team culture
* Oversee the Food Safety Program and ensure all compliance requirements are met
* Manage stock control, supplier relationships, and budget considerations
* Prepare and cook meals to suit a range of dietary needs, including texture-modified diets
* Listen to resident feedback and ensure satisfaction with meals and service
What you will bring:
* Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Food Handling qualification
* Solid experience in hospitality, ideally in high-volume food preparation
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
It would be an advantage if you have:
* Experience in residential aged care or healthcare settings
* Intermediate computer skills
* A genuine passion for working with older people and delivering service with empathy
