Defence Aviation | ISO9001 / DASR 145 | Safety & Compliance
Are you a quality-driven professional with a passion for aviation and regulatory excellence? We're seeking a Quality & Compliance Specialist to join a high-performing team supporting a major Defence aviation program. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the safety, compliance, and continuous improvement of cutting-edge aircraft operations.
Reporting to the Quality Manager - ADF PC-21 Programs, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with ISO9001/45001 and DASR 145 standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting internal and external audits, assessments, and investigations
* Monitoring regulatory activities and ensuring alignment with CASA, DASA, and NZ CAA requirements
* Managing safety management system (SMS) data and reporting
* Identifying and addressing regulatory gaps
* Facilitating the SQEHS Forum and compliance communications
* Supporting training delivery and supplier reviews
* Conducting occurrence investigations and contributing to audit programs
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in aviation quality, compliance, or safety roles
* Strong knowledge of DASA/CASA regulations and ISO9001 frameworks
* Auditor qualification (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience working within a Safety Management System (SMS)
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Intermediate MS Office and ERP system proficiency
* Australian Citizenship - Ability to apply for clearance
