**Job Title:** Youth Development Coordinator
Job Description:
As a Youth Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future success and well-being of the youth under our care. You will liaise between students, school personnel, and parents/guardians of students who encounter educational, social, emotional or behavioral problems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Be part of the professional team working with the school and community, and liaise with students, teachers, parents, guidance officers, special needs teachers, administrative officers, welfare agencies, and other government departments.
* Monitor attendance policies to increase awareness of students experiencing problems, allowing for intervention before such problems escalate.
* Forge links between the school and families of students showing persistent absence from schooling to encourage continuous attendance at school and assist students determine future educational requirements.
* Identify and provide appropriate assistance to students experiencing difficulties at school and/or at home which may put them at risk of leaving school prematurely.
* Maintain accurate records and data management systems.
* Contribute to a positive, caring, and supportive school image in the community.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Demonstrated experience in youth development, education, or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
