We are seeking a Qualified Automotive Mechanic / Motor Technician to join our expanding service teams in Oakey.
Responsibilities:
* Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
* Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
* Repairing the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
* Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs.
* Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
* Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
* Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values.
* Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
Requirements:
* Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic or 4th year apprentice.
* Minimum 2 years experience
* Must hold a current driver's license.
* A desire to achieve results.
* Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
* Roadworthy Inspection Certificate is highly desirable but not essential.
