I'm searching for my clients next Business Development Manager covering NSW and VIC.
Here's what you'd be doing:
* Executing strategic sales plans, driving growth and smashing targets across mining, process, and infrastructure sectors throughout NSW and VIC - Electrical knowledge is key
* Building and nurturing relationships with customers that include hospitals, defence, water, rail, transport, and more, your portfolio is genuinely diverse.
* Engaging with clients in person and onsite, quickly interpreting their needs and co-designing solutions that directly convert opportunities into sales.
* Preparing accurate, competitive quotes and tenders, always with a commercial edge.
* Managing your pipeline: keeping contact and opportunity data up to date in the CRM, tracking every project from first hello, to win, to post-sales follow-up.
* Collaborating with your fellow sales team members and Technology Managers, ensuring customers get premium technical and commercial support before and after the sale.
* Spotting opportunities for new products and cross-selling, helping your clients get more out of their systems for longer.
* Helping shape broader market growth strategies, growing your own technical knowledge all the time.
* Representing the business at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
* Reporting on sales performance, market developments, competitor moves, and product comparisons, your analysis is valued.
* Liaising between customers, suppliers, and service teams to sort out any product issues quickly and professionally
Here's what I'm looking for:
* You're a proactive business developer or sales specialist with experience in technical, engineered solutions - Electrical Engineer qualified is a huge bonus.
* Knowledge of mining, infrastructure, water, defence, hospitals, rail, or process industries - a big plus.
* You bring curiosity and commercial energy, plus engineering or electrical smarts.
* Experience with power protection, automation, asset management, and complex technical products gives you an edge - think transmission & distribution
* You excel at relationship building and consultative selling, thrive in a close, culture-first team, and believe in spotting (and delivering) real value.

* A base salary of $140–$160k (plus super and commission)
