It provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics, and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.
About The Role
Lake Imaging is seeking a full-time Radiographer (Medical Imaging Technologist) to join our technical team in Ballarat. This busy, private hospital-based practice serves both inpatients and outpatients, with a focus on providing diagnostic imaging services to the hospital and local community. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of modalities and gain valuable experience.

* Angiography suite
Responsibilities Include
* Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in line with Lake Imaging's protocols.
* Quickly adapt to workflow and use RIS/PACS systems efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
* Collaborate closely with radiologists to assist in imaging procedures, including the use of sterile techniques.
* Work in theatre settings to provide essential imaging services during surgeries.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-tier patient care and foster effective teamwork.
About You
* Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent).
* Current AHPRA registration is essential.
* Experience in CT is beneficial, with MRI skills being highly advantageous.
* An interest or experience in Mammography is highly desirable.
* Experience with Siemens and Canon equipment is ideal.
* You demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills and can build effective relationships with a diverse range of colleagues and patients.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience is preferred.
* You are eager to continue learning and actively participate in ongoing education and professional development programs.
