Position Description: Logistics Team Leader
Location: Bayldon Rd, Queanbeyan Hours: Mon – Fri
Pay Rate: TBC Pay Status: Hourly

General Summary,
Logistics Team Leader oversees all aspects of internal and external logistics within a large scale joinery company.
Primary Responsibilities
* Manage a small team.
* Coordination and planning of deliveries and distribution of joinery to sites.
* Allocating personnel and Vehicle resources.
* Planning and liaising with Site and project management regarding deliveries.
* Working closely with factory management to ensure the factory operation runs smoothly, this includes waste management and maintain storage facilities.
* Liaise and coordinate labour hire and external logistics companies when necessary.
* Comply and enforce WHS polices with staff.
* Maintain small fleet of vehicles.
* Maintain and manage a delivery schedule.

Required Certification
• CPCWHS1001 Construction Industry White Card.
• 11084NAT / 10675NAT Asbestos Awareness Card.
• 10830NAT Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention.
• High Risk Work Licence (Forklift).
• Class C Driver's Licence (manual required).
• MR Truck license.
• First Aid certification (preferred).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 25kg (assisted).
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to operate forklift safely.
• Physically capable of entering and exiting company owned vehicles safety.
