We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, create high-quality dishes, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, creative with menu development, and skilled in managing a kitchen team efficiently.

Task & responsibilities
* Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour, and overhead costs.
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
* Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers.
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures using various equipment's
* Preparing and cooking food using various equipment's
* Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
* Recruit and hire staff, including cooks and other kitchen workers.
* Providing effective training to Kitchen team
* Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
* May freeze and preserve foods
* May provide training to staff
* Manage small and large functions and catering events
Qualification & experience
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent Australian qualification),
Minimum one - two years of relevant experience
