Shivpriya Pty Ltd t/a Motel Royal Tara has been providing exceptional accommodation in Binalong, offering a high standard of friendly service and facilities. All 20 units have been fully refurbished and redecorated to ensure your comfort.

Our Restaurant and Function Center is now live with new excited menu. Our restaurant has sitting capacity of 50-60 people and function centre can cater up to 150 people.

Continental buffet breakfast available everyday with pre-booking.

We also have self serve automatic coffee machine at reception for all your caffeine fix!!


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, create high-quality dishes, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, creative with menu development, and skilled in managing a kitchen team efficiently.

Task & responsibilities
* Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour, and overhead costs.
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
* Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers.
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures using various equipment's
* Preparing and cooking food using various equipment's
* Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
* Recruit and hire staff, including cooks and other kitchen workers.
* Providing effective training to Kitchen team
* Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
* May freeze and preserve foods
* May provide training to staff
* Manage small and large functions and catering events
Qualification & experience

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent Australian qualification),

Minimum one - two years of relevant experience
