We are seeking a hands-on Workshop Mechanic (Small Engine) to join our Kalgoorlie workshop. This role is ideal for candidates with practical mechanical skills—such as small engine repair, machinery maintenance, or mechanical assembly—who want to apply their expertise to industrial fabrication and mechanical projects.

What You'll Be Doing
* Detect and diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, and related components
* Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, steering mechanisms, and other mechanical parts for inspection
* Repair or replace worn, defective, or damaged parts, and reassemble mechanical components following service manuals and specifications
* Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune‐ups
* Ensure repaired engines and components function reliably and safely
Who This Role Suits
* Has strong hands‐on mechanical skills, preferably with small engine experience
* Can diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems in engines
* Follows processes carefully and ensures work is done correctly the first time
* Is reliable, positive, and works well in a team environment

What You'll Need
* Valid Driver's Licence (C Class minimum)
* High Risk LF and EWP licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience with hand and power tools
* Previous exposure to mechanical or workshop environments
