We are seeking a highly motivated and people-oriented individual to join the Southern Regional Managment Team located in Toowoomba. The Regional Coordinator role provides and co-ordinates confidential and efficient managerial and administrative support to the Director (Southern) across all regional functions and programs.
As a key member of the team, you will also be required to research analyse and formulate plans and options to address a range of diverse issues relating to the Director's area of responsibility. In addition, you will be expected to liaise and facilitate interaction between the Director and key stakeholders within the Department, relevant agencies and the community.
Further responsibilities of the Regional Coordinator include:
* Lead and manage a work group to ensure the development of a highly motivated and skilled team through the development of a framework for service delivery in areas of business operations, quality service and resource management to meet client needs.
* Provide and co-ordinate confidential and efficient managerial and administrative support to the Director (Southern) across all regional functions and programs.
* Manage issues and complaints, coordinating a timely response from Product Centre Managers where appropriate.
* Manage ongoing regional activities as required. Examples may include security, regional building and maintenance program and/or the preparation and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans.
* Research, analyse and prepare, or coordinate the timely preparation of; correspondence, briefs and reports, coordinating responses from Product Centre Managers and ensuring compliance with departmental standards and timeframes.
Please note: This position is part of the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) as part of the recent Machinery-of-Government changes. CDSB is currently in negotiations for a certified agreement to cover all CDSB employees. In the meantime, the TMR Agreement conditions apply to this position.
