**Job Description**:
Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an entry level marketing coordinator to join our Retail Real Estate Management team to assist in managing marketing initiatives for one of Geelong's largest retail precinct.
Working with the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing all centre marketing and promotional activities ultimately to increase brand awareness and engage the community whilst promoting positive and productive retailer relationships. You will work toward driving sales, foot traffic and community outcomes at the centre, and implement tactical campaigns, digital initiatives, and promotional events in addition to being responsible for all marketing administration.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the development and implementation of yearly marketing calendar of promotions and other marketing activities to maximise traffic through the centre and from this develop maximum sales to individual tenants.
- Design and implement specific campaigns for local demographics that will show case the centre
- Monitor and analyse marketing campaigns and results and report on activity in monthly management report
- Maintain relationships with local media, other suppliers and local community groups and be actively involved in community events on behalf of the centre
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Centre's digital media strategy including working with our digital agency to curate relevant content across all social media channels.
- Prepare and manage marketing budgets and contribute to the annual marketing plan.
- Assist with various monthly reporting requirements, community reporting and marketing return on investment
**Qualifications**:
The skills and experience you will bring to this role include:
- Tertiary degree in a business or marketing discipline is desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Event management or community engagement experience is highly desirable
- High attention to detail and ability to solve problems using your own initiative
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- A proactive service orientated approach to your work
