Job description:
Isaac Plains is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a maintenance team, in ensuring facilities are in good condition, including toilets, power and water and maintained according to site requirements along with managing repairs and coordinating maintenance projects. It is also required to provide assistance to the CHPP and Dragline during maintenance days and breakdowns. This role is required to work dayshift 8/6 roster and will lead a team of fitters and electricians daily managing other contractors during planned inspections and specialised repairs.Key Responsibilities
* Supervision: Lead and manage the maintenance team, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to site safety regulations and maintenance standards.
* Maintenance Management: Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to prevent equipment failures and minimise downtime.
* Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate maintenance projects, including scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and safety audits.
* Budget Management: Assist in managing the maintenance budget, tracking expenses, and optimising resource allocation for maintenance operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs. Knowledge of pumps would be advantageous. Knowledge of CHPP and Dragline equipment.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and coordinate maintenance activities.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve maintenance issues.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, management, and external contractors.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively, ensuring maintenance work is completed on schedule.
