A Day in the Life of a Demi Chef
* Work in various areas of the kitchen, including Restaurant, Banquets, Breakfast, and Room Service.
* Prepare food, beverages, materials, and equipment in advance for smooth service delivery.
* Stay updated on current food trends and develop product knowledge to upsell products and provide exceptional guest service.
* Foster effective working relationships with Management and Colleagues.
* Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, Hygiene, and HACCP standards.
We require the following skills and qualifications:
* Working rights in Australia.
* Commercial cookery certificate III or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience in Hotel Banquets or Restaurant.
* Previous experience with HACCP processes and procedures.
