Customer Service Representative - Maitland, NSW

In this role, you'll be the friendly voice and helpful resource for their customers, providing information, resolving queries, and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. We're seeking individuals with 2-3 years of customer service experience, whether in a contact centre or face to face or similar setting You'll need excellent communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Flexibility to work across a rotating roster is also key.
Key Details:
Location: Maitland Contact Centre, NSW
Contract Duration: Mid May 2025 - Mid November, 2025 (possibility for extension)
Hours: Up to 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week
Roster: Rotating roster between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays. Shifts rotate every four weeks and will not be the same for two consecutive rotations (early, mid, late shifts).
Pay: $34.59 per hour + Superannuation. Weekend / shift worker rates apply in line with Private Clerks Award
Training: Full-time (35 hours per week) on-site training and nesting for approximately 12 weeks. Hybrid working options considered following this with internet requirements etc.
Requirements:
2-3 years customer service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn new software quickly
Flexibility to work a rotating roster across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
Responsibilities:
Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email
Providing accurate and timely information and assistance
Maintaining clear and accurate records of customer interactions
Adhering to ServiceNSW policies and procedures
