As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records and ensuring that our client's information is up to date. Serving as a trusted resource for our clients, you will answer their queries and offer valuable insights into their financial data. Manage a variety of bookkeeping tasks and provide back up support on administration tasks, contributing to a collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing account payments;
2. Perform monthly account reconciliations;
3. Regularly perform bank reconciliations;
4. Assist with Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and Business Activity Statements (BAS);
5. Data entry and management;
6. Maintenance of computer-based administration file;
7. Maintenance of client files;
8. Processing and lodging Superannuation;
9. Payroll;
10. Support and mentor junior bookkeeping staff.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 3+ years in a similar role;
2. Proficient in Xero;
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
4. Strong attention to detail;
5. Proven ability to effectively engage with clients and foster strong relationships;
6. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team;
7. Intermediate / advanced experience with Microsoft Office packages.
