The Currumbin Beach Vikings Surf Life Saving Club is situated on Elephant Rock right on the Pacific Ocean in Currumbin. The Club was established in 1919 and has grown into a very strong Surf Life Saving Sporting Club, a well-established family-friendly Restaurant & Bar, and an iconic Gold Coast location.
We are seeking an energetic, organised, positive and experienced Events Supervisor to assist our Events Manager with the operations of our functions space, the Vikings Room.
The Events Supervisor will be an integral component of the team, driving bookings for our event space and ensuring the successful operations of all events.

Responsibilities
* Lead our daily operations making every guest feel special
* Guide and lead a team of events attendants
* Ensure excellent levels of internal and external customer service
* Comply with all health and safety regulations
The ideal candidate will possess
* At least 2 years' experience – Events Management, Bar, Service of food & POS
* Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
* Communication and leadership skills
* Guest-oriented and service-minded
* Current QLD RSA
* Proven experience in the Events & Hospitality Industries
* An understanding of a rostering system and POS/Stock system
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite
* Available to work over the busy summer period (Christmas & New Years)
* Gaming experience advantageous, but not essential
