Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced network systems support professional to play a key role in delivering technical assistance across complex technology environments for government clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain critical network and security toolsets and platforms, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance.
* Provide incident management, triage, and access control within an ITIL-based environment, utilizing technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
* Support change control, release management, and process improvement initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure service delivery outcomes.
* Act as an escalation point for complex incidents or troubleshooting, applying problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to resolve issues effectively.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in systems/network administration (Linux, AD, DNS, DHCP)
* Networking knowledge with CCNA certification or above
* Familiarity with security operations and tools (e.g. Splunk, SIEM, vulnerability management)
* Problem-solving mindset and ability to work calmly under pressure
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
* Australian Citizenship with Baseline or NV1 security clearance
