With a focus on uncovering and understanding the impact that design makes on everyday experiences, The Local Project celebrates honest and human-centred design through premium print, digital, editorial, video and social content, with over 100,000,000+ impressions per month across our owned, operated and third-party platforms. Earlier this year we launched The Local Production, a full-service specialist agency focused on creating content to truly elevate brands. Harnessing expert knowledge and skills, we specialise in delivering strategic excellence and creative brilliance.
Some of the things you’ll be working on….
* Understanding The Local Project’s aesthetic, look and feel, and ensuring every edit is done to this highest possible standard within the time and resource restrictions.
* Liaising with Senior Videographers and Content Creators (both in-house or freelance) on delivery of video assets.
* Sourcing appropriate music, audio and visual effects and other supporting materials to support production.
* Working alongside the Production Manager to deliver first cuts to clients with top-line explanations and justifications for creative decisions.
* Working alongside the Account Management teams and Production Manager to interpret client feedback in subsequent cuts.
* Delivering, storing and filing all raw footage and final assets.
Experience you’ll need…
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a video editor.
* An advanced knowledge of editing software including Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
* A proven ability to craft a story from raw material.
* A solid all round knowledge of the end to end Production process.
* Experience with editing footage captured on both RED and Black Magic camera equipment (ability to handle equipment as required will be considered a bonus).
* Experience working in the Architecture and Design industries will be looked upon favourably
* Ability to travel as required.
* Although not essential, a network of freelance resources with production and editing capabilities is considered beneficial.
* Although not essential, drone license and ability to navigate a Mavic Pro drone is considered beneficial.
