Research Services at Edith Cowan University has recently expanded to provide outstanding support to the University’s growing research priorities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our Research Services Team, to support the Director, Research Services, in the coordination of a range of projects and events to support industry engagement programs at ECU. The successful person will use their project management and communication skills to coordinate research engagement opportunities across the University, working with academic staff, Higher Degree by Research students and industry partners. The successful person will be responsible for supporting ECU’s health researchers to engage with industry partners and for maintaining and growing collaborative industry partnerships that will contribute to ECU’s research-related industry engagement objectives as detailed in the ECU Strategic Plan 2022-2026.
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
Demonstrated relevant experience in providing high-level administrative services including the provision of advice and recommendations on issues of research industry engagement and research training.
Experience in the coordination of projects including managing timelines and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations based on your findings.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present information in a way that is meaningful and understandable to a variety of audiences.
The ability to build effective relationships and stakeholder engagement both within and external to the University.
A well-established network of industry partners relevant to Health disciplines will be an advantage.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage and Personal Excellence.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, fixed term position attracts a remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
