Extreme Excavators and Steelarc Engineering. We provide high-quality heavy engineering and field service maintenance to the mining, ports, infrastructure sectors.
About the Role
We're seeking a Merger Transition Manager to lead the delivery of our Merger Transition Plan across all business functions. Reporting directly to the Project Steering Committee and working alongside owners, general managers, and functional leads, you will be responsible for managing the successful integration of systems, people, and operations into a single, high-performing entity: EXS Services.
This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on turning plans into action, navigating complexity, and delivering outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Execute the EXS Merger Transition Plan across 16 business workstreams.
Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across departments.
Manage project timelines, budget, milestones, and risk registers with disciplined reporting to the Steering Committee.
Oversee the integration of finance systems, payroll, IT platforms, and client/vendor accounts.
Coordinate and lead a cross-functional delivery team including finance, HR, operations, IT, quality, and compliance.
Oversee change management, stakeholder communications, and cultural alignment initiatives.
Liaise with external consultants, banks, lawyers, and accountants as needed.
Ensure seamless transition of clients, suppliers, systems, and personnel into the new EXS Services entity.
Manage SOP rollout, audit readiness, and project documentation in line with governance requirements.
What We're Looking For:
Demonstrated experience in project or change management—merger or business integration experience highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of operational systems across finance, HR, IT, or quality.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, hands-on leader with the ability to turn plans into outcomes.
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and work closely with business owners and operational leaders.
