Responsibilities:
* Deliver outstanding customer service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
* Sort recyclable items into their correct categories, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency
* Transport items to the relevant storage area, using manual handling or forklift equipment as required
* Ensure customers are welcomed and assisted with their recycling products, inspiring repeat business and loyalty
* Cash handling and processing transactions accurately and efficiently
* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents
* Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction, suggesting innovative solutions and best practices
Requirements:
* Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in Excel and Outlook, with ability to learn new software and systems quickly
* A great 'can-do' attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact on the community
