About The Role
About Power Systems Planning at DNV

DNV provides state-of-the-art power system modelling in generation and transmission/ distribution systems for network operators, regulators, developers, asset managers, EPC's and OEM's. Our clients enjoy the benefits of DNV's global knowledge and deep technical expertise.

About You
Critical Attributes

* Demonstrated success in large scale renewable connections, registration and commissioning according to the Australian National Electricity Rules.
* Positive problem-solving mentality and great communication skills.
* Proficiency with power system analysis tools - PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Python

Key Responsibilities And Experience Relevant For The Role

* Bachelor of electrical engineering / power systems (Masters viewed favourably)
* 4+ years of industry experience, with Australian work experience viewed favourably
* Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage.
* Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks
* Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients
* Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client
* Familiarity with applicable standards, i.e. IEC, IEEE
* Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment
