Job Summary
The primary objective of this position is to provide high-level executive support to the Government Architect.
This includes delivering confidential and proactive administrative, secretarial, office management and research functions.
The Executive Officer will collaborate with staff across the Department to ensure the Government Architect can fulfill their responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
In addition, the Executive Officer will provide leadership and direction to employees within the Office of the Government Architect.
Key tasks will include ensuring consistency in administrative processes while driving continuous improvement and innovation in all business administration processes for the team.
To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:
* Demonstrated experience in a high-level executive support role.
* Ability to manage competing demands, prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to use discretion and initiative to deal with complex and sensitive issues whilst maintaining confidentiality.
* Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise, negotiate and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
* Experience in coordinating administrative systems and processes with the ability to lead and mentor others in driving process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
