Clough Wood Joint Venture maximizes the life and profitability of our client's assets by delivering reliable, schedule-driven, and cost-effective services. The Coordinator Offshore position is working on the client's Bayu-Undan offshore facilities project.
We have an exciting opportunity with an immediate requirement for a Coordinator Offshore, who will be based offshore in Timor Leste on our project site at Bayu-Undan.
This role will report to the Onshore Contract Coordinator for up to 12 months on a 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster.
As the Coordinator Offshore, the main focus is to drive the Suspension of Operations scopes, including scoping, reporting to execution schedules, and adapting to change. You will support and guide all resources and execute in line with project requirements.
Key responsibilities
1. Provide the onshore teams with the necessary support and feedback in the development of activity execution documentation such as work packs and work scope documents.
2. Manage materials and logistics movements for all relevant scopes.
3. Develop and maintain daily progress reporting against schedule as required by the project team onshore.
4. Maintain site project documentation as directed by the Contract Coordinator.
5. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to subordinates, discipline trades, and operations personnel.
6. Ensure all deliverables are completed timely and accurately, in accordance with client specifications and standards.
7. Liaise with the client offshore leadership team to ensure technical support is always available.
8. Adhere to safety protocols, uphold company policies, integrity, and ensure these are practiced by all reporting persons.
Desired experience and background
1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role in project coordination and execution within offshore, petrochemical, and maintenance industries.
2. Experience working with a multi-cultural workforce.
3. Formal engineering qualification or a Trade Qualification with 10 years of industry experience.
4. Experience in constructability and scope development.
5. Current T / BOSIET certification.
6. Current Safer Together - Industry Safety Induction.
7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite at an intermediate level.
8. Good knowledge of maintenance-related engineering problems, welding, and construction processes.
