What You'll Do:
* Analyse changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services to determine effects on cost structures
* Be a proactive member within the NPD team to deliver insights and timely advice on costings, opportunities ensuring opportunities are financially viable
* Develop and maintain the standardised costing system including raw materials, packaging and finished goods along with the annual cost update
* Analyse manufacturing operations, variances, and equipment utilisation to identify improvement opportunities
* Review inventory valuations and reconciliations ensuring it is treated appropriately
* Manufacturing Order variance review
* Undertake ad-hoc costing and analysis as required
What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
* 3+ years of experience in Australian manufacturing
* Strengths in cost accounting, ideally in food, petfood or beverage manufacturing
* Power BI and advanced Excel skills – and a love of meaningful data analysis
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems
* Analytical mindset with a knack for identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
