Pharmacy Sales Representative Job Summary
About the Role
This pharmacy sales role is designed to deliver high-quality products and services to customers in a defined territory.
* Build strong relationships with existing customers to ensure their requirements are met by our company's products.
* Exceed sales targets for dispensary and OTC pharmacy products within the defined territory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain the designated territory ensuring continuation of optimum service to first-line accounts;
2. Deliver business growth through exceeding net sales targets, acquisition targets, and customer loyalty goals;
3. Execute agreed business strategies to optimize substitution opportunities;
4. Develop and implement quarterly business plans which include targets, action plan, and outcomes for each account;
5. Facilitate a first-class sales experience using business insights, analytics, and innovative deal-level strategies;
6. Acknowledge and overcome customer concerns. Take ownership of territory issues and provide appropriate solutions. Escalate to Regional Business Manager if required;
7. Consistently record and assess call outcomes in call notes within the required system;
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Science, or Sales;
* At least one year of experience working within Australia's generic market;
* One-two years' experience in B2B complex sales environments;
* Proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets;
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
* Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
