About The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Installation Project Manager to lead the delivery of the wind turbine package on a major wind project. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end management of the turbine scope, acting as the key interface between the developer and the turbine OEM. The role will focus on ensuring turbine supply and installation activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and in line with contractual requirements. This position requires a strong techno-commercial mindset and the ability to manage contractor relationships and key project interfaces.
Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of the wind turbine package.
* Act as the primary interface between the developer and turbine OEM.
* Oversee turbine installation activities and ensure alignment with project schedule and safety standards.
* Manage contractual interfaces between the developer, OEM, and installation contractors.
* Handle commercial matters, including variations, EOT claims, and contract negotiations.
* Monitor project progress, risks, and performance.
Skills & Experience
* Strong background in renewable energy, particularly Wind Farms
* Experience managing turbine OEMs and installation packages.
* Understanding of contracts, variations, EOTs, and commercial negotiations.
* Experience as an Installation Manager or Project Manager on wind projects.
* Site delivery experience preferred.
* Experience working with turbine OEMs highly desirable.
