* Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
* Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
* Support month‐end and year‐end closing processes.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
* Collaborate with the team to prepare budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
* Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
* Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Profile
A successful Assistant/Graduate Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Xero.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‐paced retail environment.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
* Working towards CA/CPA
