**CSSD Instrument Technician - Grade 3**
We are seeking an **CSSD Instrument** **Technician** to join our team at Waverley Private Hospital on a causal position.
Join our CSSD Technicians in our busy department. As an Instrument Technician, you will be required to assist nursing staff in ensuring daily set ups are complete and sterilisation processes are to standard.
You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSD whilst practicing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.
This will include working in conjunction with the Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.
**About You**
To succeed in this role you will bring proven experience in Clinical Sterilisation services, ideally within a hospital setting. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
**You will also bring;**
- Cert III in sterilisation services are essential
- Minimum 2 year experience in sterilisation processing within a Healthcare environment
- Good working knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 & NSQHS Standards
- Proven ability to prioritise work load and needs of consumers in a busy Central Sterilisation Services Department
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Previous experience in Endoscope reprocessing is preferred
