**Introduction**:
We're seeking a passionate and experienced SEO & SEM Specialist to lead and optimise our search engine marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on SEO across the ANZ region. Reporting directly to the AU Marketing Manager, you'll take full ownership of developing and executing impactful SEO strategies that drive measurable results. You'll collaborate closely with the NZ Marketing Manager to ensure alignment and success across both markets. This position is located in Northbridge, NSW, and is office-based.
**Search Engine Optimization (SEO)**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and improve search engine rankings.
- Perform on-page and technical SEO optimisations
- Lead off-page SEO efforts
- Create SEO-friendly content, ensuring alignment with target keywords
- Conduct site audits and provide recommendations for optimisation.
- Track and analyse organic search performance,
**Search Engine Marketing (SEM)**:
- Developing and implementing high-performing Google Ads campaigns with effective ad copy, targeting, and bid strategies to achieve business goals.
- Support paid search efforts (Google Ads, Bing Ads) to complement SEO initiatives,
- Manage budget allocation, bid strategies, and daily campaign monitoring
- Conduct thorough keyword research and audience targeting
- Write compelling ad copy, test creative variations, and optimise landing pages for SEM campaigns.
- Continuously analyse SEM performance, adjusting strategies based on data insights
- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices

**Requirements**:
- Proficient with the WordPress platform
- Proven experience in both SEO and SEM, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and paid search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads).
- Proficiency in SEO and SEM tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hotjar, Google Ads, and Google Search Console.
- Experience with technical SEO (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), keyword research, and competitive analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital communications, or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of digital marketing experience in SEO/SEM and digital marketing
- 2 years of technical SEO experience
- Experience with analytical tools. Google Analytics, SEO and Google Ads certification are a plus
- Salesforce Experience is a plus, including Account Engagement knowledge
