* Are you someone who loves being around people and community, with a desire to have an impact through collaboration?
* Do you have a passion for delivering culturally relevant training that empowers communities and drives personal growth?
* Do you have the creativity to design and deliver impactful training in diverse, remote environments?

The Organisation

The Bidwern Butj Uni is a partnership between Warddeken Land Management and Mimal Land Management, dedicated to supporting the people and landowners of West and Central Arnhem Land by delivering benefits to Country and culture.

Warddeken and Mimal lead holistic ranger programs, including highly valued women's ranger teams, focusing on savanna burning, biodiversity conservation, native species monitoring, invasive species control, and intergenerational knowledge sharing.

The Bidwern Butj Uni addresses gaps in training by delivering fit-for-purpose professional development that empowers Bininj staff to progress from ranger roles to senior leadership positions. Backed by a five-year funding commitment, this Bininj-led initiative is trialling innovative approaches to adult education and ranger training, setting a benchmark for on-Country learning.

Supported by the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program, the Uni delivers tailored Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills training to enhance job readiness, further education opportunities, and community engagement.

The SEE First Nations Project Coordinator will report to the Program Manager and work alongside the Bidwern Butj Uni team and project partners to deliver impactful training across Mimal and Warddeken Land Management. In this role you will build trusted relationships to oversee implementation and management of the program, ensuring it effectively addresses the diverse needs of participants in culturally safe learning spaces where culture, story and identity are central.

* Support the co-design and implementation of a three-year SEE First Nations project across Mimal and Warddeken Land Management Corporations in Arnhem Land.
* Engage stakeholders and build extensive on-ground relationships to co-design the program to meet community expectations, coordinating the team to deliver hands-on, place-based and strengths-focused training.
* Provide quality documentation and reporting and monitor and adapt the project to support positive learner outcomes.
* Spend one week per month in Arnhem Land, with office work from Darwin for the remainder.
