The Civic Pub on behalf of Civicflow Pty Ltd is looking for experienced cooks or chefs to join our teams in a number of locations.

The Role:
We are seeking applicants who are professional and reliable with a passion for food and a positive team attitude. Reporting to the Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and cooking high quality Modern Australian dishes from our menu to consistently high standards
* Assisting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen including
* coordinating kitchen operations and workflow and effectively communicating with front of house staff
* You must be able to work efficiently, operate well under pressure and be willing to assist with training of junior staff and apprentices
* Implementing and strictly adhering to workplace healthy, safety and hygiene regulations
What we are looking for:
* Excellent communication skills and good English is essential
* At least two years experience in high volume kitchen or a Certificate III or higher qualification in Commercial Cookery
* Display exceptional culinary skills and a genuine desire to prepare and serve delicious food
* Demonstrate leadership, attention to detail, strong customer service, and high standard of personal cleanliness and presentation
* A thorough understanding and commitment to food safety and hygiene
