**About the role**:
The Office Administrators' primary role is to be the key first point of contact for College. Working from the Main Reception this role requires performing with a high level of professionalism and customer service in supporting our students, parents, teachers and the wider schooling community. This role will also support our Student Services Team in the afternoon in a similar capacity.
As a Business Trainee you will be required to work Monday - Friday 38 hours a week. Whilst you are getting hands on experience working in the role you will also be undertaking a Certificate III in Business.

**The key responsibilities for this role include**:
- Operates telephone switchboard; answering and re-directing telephone calls in a timely, professional and welcoming manner
- Resolve direct enquiries and provide accurate information when assisting
- Redirect calls to the relevant Leaders, Teachers and Associate Staff
- Take messages and communicate them to appropriate enquirers
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- Attend to incoming and outgoing courier deliveries and distribution
- Sort and distribute mail
- Maintain employee and department directories and pigeon holes
- Support the operation and maintenance of office machines, including printers, copiers, and fax
- Assist with any photocopying
- Assist with collating and organising of Packs/Gifts/Letters etc.
- Perform all Archiving and Filing
- Support the ordering of stationary
- Assist Secondary School students by responding to queries and meeting their requirements;
- Effectively manage information flow in a busy reception environment, including external calls, enquiries and messages for staff, parents and students;
- Screen enquiries for staff;
- Maintain up-to date records regarding student absences during the day;
- Arrange late/early departure data entry;
- Deliver messages to students on behalf of parents
- Act as the primary first aid officer for Front Reception
**Requirements**:
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
- Committed
- Must be an Australian citizen/ Permanent Resident
- Willing to attend accredited RTO/TAFE training
- A driver's license and own transportation is preferred
- Working with Children check is essential
