Due to growth, our client is seeking a Part Time Payroll Officer (3 days per week), to join their team immediately for a temporary to permanent opportunity.

The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:
Processing payroll for approximately 180 employees in total (30 weekly and 150 fortnightly)
Calculating outstanding accrued leave redundancy entitlements
Prepare and lodge payroll tax, PAYG, work cover and superannuation
Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
Understanding of Awards
Resolving payroll discrepancies as well as;
Various other duties as required
The successful applicant will have
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi task and work within a fast faced environment
Knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, superannuation & payroll tax legislation
Strong excel and numeracy skills
