The position of motor mechanic is responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicles.
Key Responsibilities Include: -Ensure reactive and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are in accordance with maintenance schedules including oil changes, transmission fluids, tire pressure etc.
-Identify, test and repair different types of motor, mechanical and electrical failures on vehicle engines and machinery.
-Fault test and diagnose -Perform repairs and replace defective/worn parts-Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmission, steering mechanisms, components and check parts-Reassemble engines and parts for repair.
Qualifications required: -Experience working in a similar role.
-Qualified mechanic (AQF III or equivalent)-At least 3 years of fulltime working experience -Good attention to detail-Ability to work in a team-Good communication skills and interpersonal skills-Must be able to comply with all OHS policies and procedures-Be motivated and able to work together and want to achieve company targets.An attractive remuneration will be based upon the applicants skills and experience.
