Seeking a hospitality supervisor to primarily help manage the restaurant and bar attached to an established hotel within Moranbah. There will be some hotel related front reception duties in addition to this. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and coaching the service team to uphold our service quality standards
* Manage staff shifts ensuring adequate staff coverage during business hours
* Developing rapport with guests and locals to promote clientele loyalty & retention
* Ensure that all payments are processed accurately and efficiently. The supervisor will be expected to check and report any discrepancy between payments and sales records.
* Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times, oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, assist with the setup and service of special events, banquets, and private functions as needed.
* Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations at all times.
* Should be head receptionist be absent, helping to organise front desk matters including assisting with motel room bookings and communications.
Requirements for the role include:
* Friendly demeanour over the phone and also in person in all interactions.
* Prior relevant experience in bar and restaurant environments.
* Prior relevant leadership experience leading and coaching a team.
* RSA certificate (essential)
* A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature.
Work hours are expected to be mostly in afternoons and nights on weekdays.
